Translation and legalization of documents

Lebanon has not signed the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 (the affixing of the "apostille") on the Abolition of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents. Therefore, for the documents issued by the Lebanese authorities and to be used in Italy, these documents must be translated into Italian by an official translator, stamped at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon and then taken to the consular office for the signature authentication of the officer. The service is immediate and does not require an appointment.
At the moment this Embassy provides also for the legalization of documents issued in Syria, which will undergo to the same procedure (Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) before being exhibited.
