{"id":2465,"date":"2024-02-14T10:53:26","date_gmt":"2024-02-14T09:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambbeirut.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/riconoscimento-dei-titoli-di-studio-esteri-e-dichiarazione-di-valore\/documentazione-richiesta-per-il-rilascio-della-dichiarazione-di-valore\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T15:37:27","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T13:37:27","slug":"documentazione-richiesta-per-il-rilascio-della-dichiarazione-di-valore","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambbeirut.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/riconoscimento-dei-titoli-di-studio-esteri-e-dichiarazione-di-valore\/documentazione-richiesta-per-il-rilascio-della-dichiarazione-di-valore\/","title":{"rendered":"Documents required for the declaration of value"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To obtain the Declaration of value of your study qualification <strong>issued in Lebanon<\/strong>, you have to prepare the following documents, which must be presented to the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy by making an appointment on the \u201cPrenotami\u201d website: <a href=\"https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Be advised that, with regard to the French Baccalaur\u00e9at, the Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore) must be requested from the Consulate General of Italy in Paris and the academic qualifications awarded by the American University of Beirut (AUB), the corresponding Declaration of Value must be requested from the Consulate General of Italy in New York.<\/p>\n<p>As an alternative, applicants may obtain a Statement of Comparability through the online services of CIMEA (Centro di Informazione sulla Mobilit\u00e0 e le Equivalenze Accademiche &#8211; Cimea) via its official website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cimea.it\/it\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.cimea.it\/it\/index.aspx<\/a>). CIMEA issues internationally recognized Statements of Comparability that are accepted by the vast majority of Italian higher education institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A) <u>Declaration of Value for Study purposes: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is necessary to apply for a Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore) prior to submitting for a student visa. Please note that the processing time of a Declaration of Value may require up to 30 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For all courses related to the Laurea (Bachelor 3 years) \/ Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico (Single Cycle\u00a0Bachelor &amp; Master\u2019s Degree, 5 or 6 years) \/ 1<\/strong><strong><sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><strong>\u00a0Level Academic Diploma (3 years)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ambbeirut.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1-a-Modello_bilingue_richiesta_dv_con_delega-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application form<\/a> duly filled and signed;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diploma of General Secondary School (Lebanese Baccalaureate) issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Diploma of General Secondary school<\/strong>: one certified copy, legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical Baccalaureate Diploma:<\/strong> One certified true copy, legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Certificate of Specialization\/Study Track (\u062a\u062d\u062f\u064a\u062f \u0645\u0633\u0644\u0643), legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education. For diplomas issued prior to 2023, simple certificates or attestations issued by the University will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Diplomas issued by other private Lebanese Universities<\/u><\/strong>: A certified photocopy of the Diploma or Graduation Certificate, legalized first by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and then by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs plus a simple certified copy (not translated nor legalized) of the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education.
