{"id":3363,"date":"2024-11-06T16:36:58","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T15:36:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambbeirut.esteri.it\/?p=3363"},"modified":"2024-11-06T17:50:14","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T16:50:14","slug":"requesting-a-visa-for-the-jubilee-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambbeirut.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/11\/requesting-a-visa-for-the-jubilee-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Requesting a Visa for the Jubilee \u2013 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A special \u201cTourism-Jubilee\u201d visa is available for those participating in<strong><u> pilgrimages to Rome organized by their local churches<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In preparation for the Jubilee 2025, the Italian\u00a0<em>Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperatio<\/em>n and the\u00a0<em>Dicastery for Evangelization<\/em> have signed a\u00a0<em>Modus Procedendi<\/em>\u00a0that can facilitate the issuance of an entry visa for Italy for the faithful who intend to come on pilgrimage to Rome and other holy sites in Italian territory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>It is important to know that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The process for requesting the special \u201c<u>Jubilee-Tourism<\/u>\u201d visa is\u00a0reserved\u00a0<strong>exclusively\u00a0for pilgrims participating<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>in a diocesan pilgrimage<\/strong> (or with a group from within the diocese) that is organized by a\u00a0<strong>local Coordinator\u00a0<\/strong>appropriately designated by the Local Ordinary, within the procedures described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/AgreementKeyPoints.pdf\"><strong>Modus procedendi<\/strong><\/a> .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outside of the aforementioned case, it always remains a possibility for any citizen to submit his or her own request of <strong><u>other type of entry visa<\/u><\/strong>, such as:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; <strong><u>tourism<\/u><\/strong>, by pilgrims not organized in groups;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; religious reasons, presented by religious or ministers of worship to carry out initiatives or activities of a religious nature;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; invitation, for participation in events promoted Institutions of the Vatican City State with institutional purposes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A special \u201cTourism-Jubilee\u201d visa is available for those participating in pilgrimages to Rome organized by their local churches.
