Arrival of Italian ship “Capucine” carrying on board 10 firefighting vehicles

This morning, the Italian commercial ship “Capucine” arrived to the Port of Beirut, carrying on board 10 firefighting vehicles, equipment for 50 firefighters and food products. A donation by the Municipality of Florence in Italy and its Fire Department to the Fire Department of the Municipality of Beirut.

Among the authorities receiving the ship “Capucine”, the Italian Ambassador of Italy to Lebanon Nicoletta Bombardiere, the Governor of Beirut Marwan Abboud, the Mayor of Beirut Jamal Itani, the Head of Beirut Fire Department, Col. Nabil Khankarly, and a number of firefighters.

The donation, fruit of the collaboration between the Municipality of Florence and the Municipality of Beirut, was handed over under the supervision of the Lebanese Armed Forces.
