The President of the Republic of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, arrived in Italy where he met with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.
At the Quirinale, President Mattarella congratulated President Aoun on his election and on the start of his presidency full of hope for Lebanon and for everyone in the Mediterranean area, including Italians.
At Palazzo Chigi, President Meloni reiterated Italy’s strong commitment alongside the Lebanese people, especially at this decisive moment in which Lebanon, engaged in an ambitious reform program, can turn the page after the numerous crises it has gone through.
