Documents required for the declaration of value

To obtain the Declaration of value of your study qualification, you have to prepare the following documentation, which must be presented to the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy by making an appointment on the “Prenotami” website:

 

For all courses related to the Laurea (Bachelor 3 years) / Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico (Single Cycle Bachelor & Master’s Degree, 5 or 6 years) / 1st Level Academic Diploma (3 years)

  1. Diploma of General Secondary School (Lebanese Baccalaureate) or an equivalent: the original Diploma and 1 certified copies, all 2 legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (French stamp).;
  2. An Italian translation of the diploma: you can either contact the Italian Cultural Institute or one of the listed translators on the following link: https://ambbeirut.esteri.it/it/servizi-consolari-e-visti/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti/elenco-dei-traduttori-giurati-per-la-lingua-italiana/. You can also contact other sworn translators but in this case the translation should be duly legalized by the competent Lebanese services (first by a notary, then by the Ministry of Justice and finally by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (French stamp);
  3. Passport copy with a validity of two years at least e 1 colored photocopy of it.
  4. One picture: passport size, recent (maximum three months).
  5. Acceptance letter of the chosen University/AFAM Institution.

 

For all courses related to the Laurea Magistrale (Master) /  2nd Level Academic Diploma (2 years)

  1. University Diploma
    • Diplomas issued by the public Lebanese University: A certified photocopy of the Diploma or Graduation Certificate, legalized by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (French stamp);
    • Diplomas issued by other private Lebanese Universities: A certified photocopy of the Diploma or Graduation Certificate, legalized first by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and then by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (French stamp), plus a simple certified copy (not translated nor legalized) of the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education;
  2. A sworn Italian translation of the diploma: For the translation, you can either contact the Italian Cultural Institute or one of the listed translators on the following link: https://ambbeirut.esteri.it/it/servizi-consolari-e-visti/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti/elenco-dei-traduttori-giurati-per-la-lingua-italiana/.   3. Transcript issued by the University and showing the exams successfully passed, legalized by the Ministry of Education (if it is a private University) and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (French stamp);
  4. Passport copy with a validity of two years at least e 1 colored photocopy of it.
  5. One picture: passport size, recent (maximum three months).
  6. Acceptance letter of the chosen University/AFAM Institution.
