The French, Spanish and Italian foreign ministers arrived in Lebanon on Friday evening on a joint mission,aimed at encouraging the political forces to agree on a consensual candidate, four days before the parliamentary session scheduled for the election of the new president.
Bernard Kouchner, Miguel Angel Moratinos and Massimo D’Alema will meet with Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, Speaker of the House Nabih Berri, and Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir.
