COVID-19. Extension of the effects of the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health of 22 February until 31 May 2022 (DPLF no longer required)

The Ordinance of April 28, 2022 of the Minister of Health extends the effects of the Ordinance of February 22, 2022 by which all types of travel to Italy are permitted, including tourism.

Visa applications from Lebanon and Syria to Italy can be submitted to TLScontact, located in Beirut in Martyres Square, by registering on the website https://it.tlscontact.com/lb/bey/index.php.

Travelers vaccinated for COVID-19 must provide the Green Pass or equivalent foreign certificate of vaccination. As of May 1, the Digital Passenger Locator Form (DPLF) is no longer required.

Travelers not vaccinated against COVID-19 are subject to the obligation to remain in isolation for five days after entering Italy and to carry out molecular tests (PCR) at the end of the quarantine.

The following categories are exempted from the obligation to produce a vaccination or quarantine certificate: air crews; cross-border workers or students; travelers who pass through Italy for less than 36 hours.

Movements to and from the Republic of San Marino and the State of the Vatican City are not subject to limitations or reporting obligations.

The Ordinance of April 28 extends the effects of the one of February 22 and remains in force until May 31, 2022.
